'Star Wars VIII: The Last Jedi', Draws curiosity from the fans on who the jedi is
Here it is at last! Another chapter for the classic and one-of-the-best movie of all times, Star Wars. Episode VIII will be entitled "The Last Jedi". The film will be directed by Rian Johnson along with the help of George Lucas in writing. As of now, the status of the movie is still in post-production. It is set to be released this December 15th in US theaters.
The past franchise, Star Wars: The Force Awakens was highly regarded as the one who answered the biggest questions that most of the fans have been asking since the release of Return of the Jedi, commented by Cinemablend. It will make viewers more curious on what Episode VIII has to offer.
The title "The Last Jedi" was tweeted from the official @starwars account on twitter as reported by DigitalSpy.The said tweet was posted last January 24th along with the caption "the next chapter of Skywalker saga". Having said that, this sparked many controversies, theories, and comments from various fans worldwide. A great reaction and feedback indeed.
A "leaked" script was already out according to MovieWeb but of course, this won't be verified until the exact showing date. It talks about the movie focusing on Anakin Skywalker's father and so on. Even if this is not real, it still sounds crazy that a fan can theorize much.
IGN even noticed the Star Was logo turned into red. They even stated that it had already happened on the past episodes: Return of the Jedi and Revenge of the Sith. They theorized that there will be a disturbance in the Force.
As of now, nobody knows who or what the title is referring to. It might be Luke but since Rey came, there are 2 of them already. Some speculated that one of them might even die at the end leaving "the last Jedi" behind and continuing the legacy. Jedi can be plural or singular too!
