Bruce Springsteen is a widely known artist recognized for his classic songs, multiple album sell outs and even jam packed stadiums. His songs compose of poetic lyrics and political sentiments sometimes. Every performance he does is lengthy and energetic. His distinctive and catchy voice makes his song easy to remember and easy to sing with. His genre is mostly rock and folk music. What's more interesting is he can handle and play several instruments.

Last January 12, he held a secret acoustic concert for Obama's staff for working hard for the past eight years as reported by Rolling Stone. He played 15 hit and classic song in front of approximately 250 staff in the White House's East Room. The songs were handpicked by him due to it's message behind. Most of it discusses politics as well as Obama's impact between each song. His performance is believed to show support for the recent administration as well as a thanksgiving to the personnels.

It was indeed a day to remember. Aside from Bruce performing on stage,Barrack Obama as well as First Lady Michelle Obama joined him as well. They even collaborated and sang 'Tougher Than The Rest' and "If I Should Fall Behind." The set also ended well with Obama being thankful to Springsteen for his performance on-stage.

The performance was tackled with some controversy as well. They were invited to play for "Make America Great Again" for Donald Trump in which they declined on the last minute. The Independent also stated that a lot of bands and artist didn't agreed to play as well in this event. When asked why they didn't join the event, Springsteen stated that their decision is "based solely on the respect and gratitude we have for Bruce and the E Street band."
