'The Flash' Season 3 Resumes: Lower ratings compared before, still a fan favorite show

Finally, the long wait is over. The Flash Season 3 Episode 10 was aired last January 24. The episode is entitled "Borrowing Problems From the Future" in which Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Team Flash try to find a way and alter the possibilities on avoiding the death of Iris (Candice Patton).

As reported by Entertainment Weekly, the show "seemed like having a trouble finding the right balance between light and melodrama". This is in response to the first half episodes of the current season. The show was having a lot of fillers and unimportant scenarios as well. 

Episode 10 continues with Barry Allen having nightmares and flashback regarding Savitar's murder to his fiance, Iris. He was so focused on what he saw in the future and this had affected him in saving Central City. Aside from the drama, the Star Labs was opened for public thanks to Dr. Harrison Wells from another earth. In the latter part, Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) agreed to Vibe the future to see if there's a chance to revert what is going to happen. They started altering headlines in the future now. Instead of Barry Allen stopping the villain Plunder, The Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale) was given the chance to finish him and put the cuffs on. On the ending of the episode, it appears that a mysterious woman is looking for Dr. Harrison Wells.

Despite the good episode, it's ratings are still not that high compared before according to TV by the numbers. In fact, as Cinemablend stated, "it came back with less of a splash than usual." It still is a popular show even though its ratings was a bit lower than before. 

Regardless, The Flash Season 3 has a few episodes left before the end. Fans and viewers will have to watch out how Barry Allen saves the day and defeat his enemy this season, Savitar. Meanwhile, the Episode 11 titled "Dead or Alive" and will be aired this coming January 31, 7:00 PM on CW.
