Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Starting the year with a cliffhanger episode
The year 2017 had just started a few days ago and yet the popular show "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" aired a fall finale episode last January 1. The finale consists of two parts (Episode 11 and 12) which lead to a very intriguing ending, Gina Linetti (Chelsea Peretti) getting hit by a bus.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine is a show that gives laughter and humor on its audiences. Hence having the genre comedy and crime. The show is full of diverse characters on a police headquarters setting. Having different issues and goals, together they solve crimes in an utterly hilarious yet serious fashion. The show already won 2 Golden Globes, 8 other awards and currently has 57 nominations up to date according to IMDb. The show's achievement already speaks for itself.
The show will resume this coming April 11. Quite a month to wait to answer the cliffhanger episode. Many people are keeping their hopes up and expecting the producers to execute something that is worth waiting for.
On the fall season finale of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, a couple of events happened. In fact, Entertainment Weekly even highlighted most of it. Jake agrees to move into Amy's crib, Pontiac Bandit resurfaced again, a luxurious car got stolen and of course, Gina getting leveled by a bus.
A summary of the whole finale was also compiled by Buzzfeed. They even stated that Gina being hit by a bus was already foreshadowed in the earlier part of the episode. It might seem like a joke at first but viewers literally had no idea that it was gonna happen. At the final scene of the episode, Gina got a message from Charles and was instantly hit by a bus as confirmed by Dan Goor, the show's producer.
The next episode is worth waiting indeed. Gina's survival will soon be revealed and the effects on the team will be shown. We're pretty sure that the fans are still processing and theorizing on what is about to happen on the show.
