Sundance Film Festival's Weirdest Things
Sundance Film Festival is a showcase for new work from American and international iindependent film makers and it is also a time where people from across the world get together in order to induce films filled with virtual reality. But this year's Sundance was utterly a set of "weird" and bizarre compilation.
YOUR DYING DAUGHTER IS AN ADULT BABY, SO HAPPY RE-BIRTHDAY
According to The Verge, the beliefs that people are stereotypically selfish and dishonest has clearly hit Eli (Lily Collins) with the disease and with that, she fully embraces having therapy. Judy (Lili Taylor), Eli's semi-estranged mother, blames herself for Eli's illness. They never bonded when Eli was an infant, and that her therapist suggested Judy and feeding her like a baby.
CIRCA 2345
The show is full of sports equipment and clothing as if we're looking back on these preserved vestiges from the future. To some, CIRCA 2345 isn't weird because it is unforeseen but because it reminds us what the state of reality is now.
KUSO'S SEX TORSO
Kuso is a collection of semi-connected short films chronicling the lives of the women, men, and children of Los Angeles and is also a film of abundant grossness. An erect penis being stabbed, zap Heidecker into a human turkey, with a red boil from his butthole.
THE DROPPED CALL IN LEMON
Lemon is a cringe-comedy about Isaac. Everything goes wrong for him. Near the end of the film, he rushes home to use the toilet, After Isaac has fully evacuated his bowels, he gets a phone call and accidentally drops the device into the full crapper.
THE ST. REGIS FUNICULAR
Funicular is a kind of diagonal elevator that is going up and down a mountain that carries people in cars pulled by a moving cable. And Park City has on, it is called St. Regis.
CHOCOLATE (REDUX)
Director Tyler Hurds says that story goes where the viewer is a robot god, praised by the people so their need can be provided- cute cats. These can replenish their land and those big cats can be their chief or idol.
MOM'S A FECES-SMEARED DOG, SO HAPPY BIRTHDAY
a woman who's so stressed and depressed by her husband and four children which made her suffer from psychotic breaks and decides she's a feral dog. Things get strangest when her awful husband Bill is trying to be supportive.
A GHOST STORY (REDUX)
According to TechInverstors News, Casey Affleck plays a man who dies, comes back as a ghost wearing a white sheet. Yep, you heard that right. Affleck. Ghost. Sheet.
HEARTCORPS: RIDERS OF THE STORYBOARD
The magic in Heartcorps is the way in which the dancers and the projection mapping work with one another, creating the illusion of a reality that is equal parts light and physical matter.
THE STRANGE CASE OF KUSO
It has a porno-thin setup on which Kuso scaffolds its horrors. It's sort of finding compatibility in sexual identities.
