'Nashville' Season 5 News Update: Connie Britton Teases To Be Back On Set
In "Nashville" Season 5, fans and viewers was shocked of the sudden death of Rayna James. Meanwhile, it was Connie Britton's decision to leave but hinted to return on the film.
When Rayna James met the consequence of death after a car incident, her soul mate, Deacon Claybourne and her daughter Lennon Stella was in grief and truly a heartbreaking event. During TV Line Q&A, Connie Britton admitted on her decision to take a break from the series but re-assure that she will be back on the film but different from her previous role.
On the Ellen DeGeneres show, Connie Britton revealed that she will be on "Nashville" set in a period of time. Meanwhile, Stephen Colbert hinted on Britton's come back on the show but gives no assurance on how it will happen and thought for having Rayna James a twin sister which is closer to possible.
Marshall Herskovitz, film director and the president of Emeritus of the Producers Guild of America revealed that they've decided to die Connie Britton's role in Episode 9 for a reason, on Deadline report. He also added that Rayna James farewell was intentional to make a big shock from the fans and their response to the unexpected death.
