Donald Glover Takes The Role As Simba In ‘Lion King’ Remake

Donald Glover takes the role as Simba for the upcoming remake film of 'Lion King' as the director Jon Favreu confirmed it on his twitter in the night of Feb.18. At the same time, Favreu also revealed that Mufasa will be played by James Earl Jones. Thus, both Glover and Jones will sound his voice for the son and father character in this so-called one of favorite Disney film.

As it is announced Sep. 2016, Disney will have a work in remaking its animation film 'Lion King'. For the time being, Disney have projects on reproducing the classic animation into a live-action scene, not only for Lion King, but it is mentioned that some other classic Disney film will return with a more realistic version. Favreu shows his excitement for the progress of this project through his twitter account. As Donald Glover takes the role as Simba, the director himself must have a certain reason in mind. 

For Donald Glover takes the role as Simba in remake version of 'Lion King', he is mentioned that he is on a rise during this time around. It is for the reason that he previously created and acted as a lead actor on his TV show 'Atlanta' which make a big hit on the audience and also he have taken the granted to play a role as Lando Calrissian for 'Han Solo Star Wars' spinoff which is also produced by Disney.

Not yet finish play the role for Lando Calrissian character, now Glover have been reserved to have his voice sound for the character Simba. Although Donald Glover takes the role as Simba have announced, there is still not yet confirmed the fixed release date for this film. Just to make we are hopeful, it means this movie will soon start to be on progress. Thus, for 'Lion King' audience, let's just take it easy and wait.
