Manfred Pernice’s Distinct Artwork Is Featured At Kunstmuseum St.Gallen

Manfred Pernice's distinct artworks is being displayed at one of remarkable temporary exhibition, Kunstmuseum St. Gallen which is located in easteran Switzerland. Born in Germany on 1963, Pernice make himself acclaimed in the realm of artistry by sculpting low budget materials into autonomous cylindrical sculptures. Easily obtained materials such as pressboard, tiles, iron, rod, and cement become the basic object for his work.

His special view toward his creation lead him to be known as one of peculiar sculptor. Manfred Pernice' distinct artwork is often in a rare construction without giving any hint to art enthusiastic about its apparent function. Pernice declare himself that his art is about being ambiguous. However, being unclear in their shape, it doesn't mean that this work of him being created without a meaning. His artwork has its own view toward the world, both in the past and present.

Some of his astonishing artwork is being installed in Kunstmuseum St. Gallen since Nov.11, 2016 until Feb.19, 2017. In St. Gallen exhibition, Manfred Pernice's distinct artwork arise with a pretentious construction. This work which is sculpted from jitney materials stand with confidence showing a costly view. Being famous for his cylinder object, he also create a work in the form of circular art for this exhibition. Stay loyal, but still make art devotee jolted in an awe viewing this artwork of him.

In his conversation with Jennifer Allen for Artforum, he explained that when he is about to start working on his art, he never knew what will be the outcome of his work. Considering the material he use, it will make it possible to be organized in so many different form. He just have to assemble the materials and see how it goes. So, Manfred Pernive's distinct artwork is not generated from analytical manner, but it involves mental cognition.
