Saturday Night Live's forty-second season paid more attention to President Trump's administration. Melissa McCarthy's impersonation of the White House Press Secretary set the internet on fire but "rattled" the President because Spicer was portrayed by a woman.

According to Politico, the SNL's skit about Sean Spicer's first press conference behavior did not sit well internally in the White House. Sources close to Trump said that the President was "rattled" because of Spicer was portrayed by a woman adding he doesn't like his people to look weak.

Spicer jokingly reacted about the skit, using humor to break the tension. The Press Secretary said that Melissa's portrayal of him was a little bit exaggerated and she could dial back a bit.

However, Spicer was trying to repair his poor first impressions to the media, he's been reaching out to some reporters greeting them happy birthday. At a university forum, Spicer was making fun of his ill-fitting suit.

According to The New Yorker, in an interview last week Alec Baldwin, who played Donald Trump this season, said that the strange thing about the skits was they're just repeating what Trump said. This week McCarthy returned to SNL to play Spicer again together with Kate McKinnon to play the new Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

In the past, SNL has been notoriously spoofing Trump provoking him to lash out but now it seems that they want him to stop his nonsense. The first three weeks of his presidency, Trump have been criticized for his policies and question his persistence that he had the more people in his inauguration day than any American president.

This weekend Trump hosted the Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe at his private club in Florida. Judging from his Twitter feed, Trump didn't seem to have seen the latest episode of SNL but it's only a matter of time until he reacted to the skit.
