'Supergirl' Season 2 Spoilers: Episode 'Luthor' Sees More Of Lena's Family History; J'onn, Kara Defend M'Gann

"Supergirl" season 2 will give viewers a glimpse of some Luthor family history. In next week's episode entitled "Luthors", both Lena and her mother Lillian will be seen for the first time during the second half of the season.

In "Supergirl" season 2, Lena finds herself wrongfully accused, leading to an interesting story where viewers will wonder whether Lena is as innocent as she appears to be, given that her last name is Luthor. Meantime, the latest development between Alex and Maggie is expected to provide a more lighthearted story.

"Supergirl' season 2 synopsis reveals that Lena will be blamed and arrested for the escape of Metallo from prison, which Kara will not believe despite the overwhelming evidence and will try to clear Lena's name. The flashbacks will also reveal how Lena became a Luthor.

Based on some reviews on "Supergirl" season 2, Metallo is unlikely become a favorite villain within the CW universe, given that he lacks the built-in grudge. However, a lot are interested to witness the evolution of this character he now has more of a definite grudge against Supergirl after their battle. In fact, the more the characters create an epic rivalry, the more exciting things are expected to happen along the way, CarterMatt reported.

"Supergirl's" Feb. 6 episode, meantime, will reportedly feature the premise of a horror film. According to spoilers, a group of innocent people is locked inside a building with a monster, and a hero is expected to defend them.

In the next "Supergirl" episode, J'onn and Kara will defend M'Gann inside DEO after knowing that she is being hunted by the White Martians for betraying them. However, they bring a White Martian scout instead, which traps them inside with a monster on the loose, Screener TV reported.
