'Fast And Furious 8: The Fate Of The Furious' Early Synopsis; Vin Diesel Going Ballistic; Dwayne Johnson To Square Off With Him
Unveiled during the recent Superbowl 51, the "Fast & Furious" movie franchise unveiled their 8th installment titled "The Fate of the Furious". The film is set to be directed by F. Gary Gray along with his writers, Chris Morgan and Gary Scott Thompson. The movie is set to be released in theaters this coming Apr 15. 2017. As of the moment, the movie is still in it's post-production and minor changes and details are being sorted out.
"Fast and Furious" had always been about the special bond that a family or a group of friends has. It features mostly their teamwork through hardships and their spectacular collaboration with each other in times of trouble. However, things will change in this upcoming movie. In this sequel, it is stated that Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) will be seduced in a world of crime in which he cannot escape. As stated by Highsnobiety, this will be the main cause why he will betray those who are close to him including his former team. The crew will face trials that would be harder than what they've encountered before. Digital Spy states that Luke Hobbs (Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson) together with Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) and their former arch enemy Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) will track Dominic Toretto and figure out why he has gone rogue.
This will be the first ever "Fast and Furious" movie franchise in which Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) is not included. On the recent movie of "Fast and Furious" titled "Furious 7", we can see Brian departing from Dominic at the ending scene. This connotes that they might not see each other again for a long time. After the death of Paul Walker, it is not yet confirmed if his character will still appear in some scene using a CGI animation. "The Fate of the Furious" will be exciting and thrilling indeed.
