iPhone 8 Will Carry Smartest Siri Upgrades For 2017, Experts Say
The iPhone 8 is rumored to roll out with a major AI upgrade for Siri believed to make the phone the most intelligent of all iPhones. It is believed that the iPhone 8 would feature a moving Siri as part of the macOS Sierra making computer searches voice-activated. In addition, the iPhone 8 is believed to sport an OLED display while removing the Home button.
It should be noted that Siri was first launched in the iPhone series back in 2011 in the iPhone 4S, Express UK reported. The virtual assistant also packed several improvements and upgrades recently with the birth of the Android-powered Google Assistant. Apple reportedly opened up the service to third-party developers earlier in 2017 to expand the reach of Siri on the iPhone 8.
It has been revealed that Siri on the iPhone 8 would be easily accessible from the Dock, keyboard or menu bar. Hence, searching on the computer using voice may be done. On that note, Siri may locate a specific document in the computer's files, add a meeting to the calendar or begin a FaceTime call as well as turning the WiFi off, starting the screensaver or increasing screen brightness.
In other news, the upcoming iPhone 8 is believed to make a comeback to a glass-based design moving away from the aluminum-based designs in previous devices. Furthermore, a curved screen variant is also believed to be featured in the new iPhone 8. Moreover, Apple is believed to remove the Home button on the iPhone 8 while incorporating the phone's capabilities within the display.
The iPhone 8 is rumored to pack a Touch ID fingerprint sensor instead. In addition, the 5.8-inch iPhone 8 may also feature an OLED display with increased screen resolution. Finally, reports claim that the iPhone 8 may focused on virtual reality capabilities, Value Walk reported. Watch here for the new iPhone 8 features:
