Kate Middleton Says 'She Is Well Taken Cared By Prince William'
The Dutchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton recently met the families and staff at a children's hospice to support those fighting life-limiting conditions. She visited East Anglia's Children's Hospices, in Quidenham, which is run by one of her key charities.
She also paid a visit to the family of 6-year-old Isabelle Benton, who is under hospice service. She met Isabelle's mother, Michala Benton, husband Roger, other daughters Aimie, 9, Daisy, 4, and Molly, 2. While speaking to PEOPLE, Michala said that Kate recognized them as they have met before. Also, when her daughter Daisy asked Kate about how it feels to be a real life princess, she said that she is very blessed as Prince William takes care of her very well. Her youngest daughter Molly also gifted the princess with a handmade picture.
Kate also had a chat with Isabella, who is undergoing a number of neurological conditions, including complex refractory epilepsy, global developmental delay, developing psychological and behavioral issues. Kate also shared few real life experiences on how Charlotte and George run off in different directions when she is trying to get them ready.
"Now that she's a mother, she has that total understanding of what it is like. She made a comment of how Charlotte and George run off in different directions when she is trying to get them ready!" Michala told PEOPLE.
The staff at the hospice was impressed with Kate's genuine behavior as she sat down to talk with children at eye level. According to ET Online, the princess appeared to be more confident with an open body language. Clad in an emerald green suit by Hobbs, the event was also a part of fund raising to build a modern facility for the hospice charity The Nook, in nearby Framingham Earl. She launched the $12.5 million appeal in 2014.
