Marvel & Square Enix are Working on a New Game Called 'The Avengers Project'

It is undeniable that every Marvel Superhero movie is spectacular. They turned every comic book into an enormously popular, in terms of its story and film stars. From "Captain America," "The Avengers," "Guardian of the Galaxy," up to "Iron Man" everything is made from Excellency.

As for that success, Marvel is now planning to compete against DC's "Batman" games. Marvel has been absent in gaming industry even though they are very popular in films. No "The Avengers game at all, no Guardian of the Galaxy" game and neither "Captain America" game.

Prior to Business Insider reports, Marvel is now collaborating with a Japanese game publisher named Square Enix along with its two popular games such as "Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal" to create a blockbuster hit game based on "The Avengers."

The title of their working project is "The Avengers Project," it was the first ever game that was sponsored by Marvel. Square Enix along with Eidos Montreal and Crystal Dynamics were in charge for creating third and first person action games, Marvel will take care of the studio game. It has been posted on Square Enix's official Twitter account the small details of the said gaming project.

Crystal Dynamics was known for their "Tomb Raider" series franchise which was seen a big hit in the past years with a duo release games such as 2013's "Tomb Raider" and 2015's "Rise of the Tomb Raider." While Eidos Montreal is well known for creating the "Deux Ex" game franchise, both 2011's "Deus Ex: Human Revolution" and 2016's "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" were a well-designed and great hit in the gaming industry.

If you're a great fan either of both games mentioned, expect fewer installments for games such as "Deus Ex" and "Tomb Raider" because the two creators of these games are now in a busy task making a game for Marvel. With this collaboration, we can expect a major blockbuster-style of "The Avengers" game.

Just a bit of advice; we must not expect mobile game out of this partnership. There's no room for Marvel making a mobile game. Their target is a blockbuster video game that will conquer throughout the whole world. The launch date for this gaming project has not yet revealed. It is said to hit stores, after the "The Avengers: Infinity War" hit cinemas in 2018 or 2019.
