The Weeknd's New Video 'Party Monster' Is A Wild Ride [VIDEO]

These days parties especially the ones that go deep into the night thrive on music which is either revamped, remixed or bass boosted to make the people literally dance to their tunes (and beats!). The Weeknd's new single "Party Monster" has all that and some more. It has a crazy intoxicating video to compliment the pacy soundtrack.

According to MTV, the Canadian pop sensation's latest video from the album "Starboy" is themed around neon-lit strange terrains with sexy girls and fancy cars.It has a panther-like creature jumping out of the TV screens too! Yes, the wild video has some really cool CGI thrown in and the abstractness just stands out.

Singer Abel Tesfaye, the man behind the brand "The Weeknd" is the main face of the video going through all that crazy stuff. There are chances that the religious subtext of the video may not go well with some people and it may end up stirring a controversy.

"Party Monster" is the third single from the album and features vocals from Lana Del Ray as well. It is currently placed at No. 8 on the Billboard US top Hip Hop hits chart. The song has been produced in common time with a tempo of 77 beats per minute.

According to Rolling Stone, The Weeknd collaborated with the director BRTHR for the music video. They previously worked on equally impressive "In the Night" and the new video reinforces their chemistry. Surreal imagery, hyper sensation and flawed elegance, this video has everything that these two artists are known for.

Fittingly the music video ends on a tragic note as the female lead Zoe Aggeliki's car accident flashes on The Weeknd's dark shades. Reportedly The Weeknd is scheduled for a world tour starting this February from Northern America covering Bonnaroo with a stoppage at Vancouver, Canada on April 25th.
