The Secrets Of Gaga: The People Behind It And Their Relationship With Each Other; A Film Made Out Of Rejection

Tomer Heymann, one of the world's successful director entered into the life of Ohad Naharin, and Israeli choreographer 25 years ago. Mr. Neymann was a waiter at an old cafe back then and also a boyfriend to one of his dancer. Never did they knew that their relationship would become as big as it is today. In fact, Mr. Heymann was so obsessed with Mr. Naharin's work that they even film a documentary that showcases the experience of Mr. Naharin with the Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet in New York before.

Recently, Mr. Heymann is persuading Mr. Naharin again to do another documentary. This time, it will be much longer than the past one and will feature another side of Mr. Naharrin's life. Most people, even artists, would be thrilled and be excited to say yes to this kind of offer. Yet, Mr. Naharrin declined. According to New York Times,  when asked why he didn't want to partake on the film, he just answered:  "I don't like to leave evidence,".

With this turn of events, even though Mr. Naharrin declined, he still allowed Mr. Heymann to film his daily activities. For Mr. Heymann, this maybe is his life project. He was always around Mr. Naharrin the whole time documenting everything that he saw.

Ohad Naharin was recently hailed as "one of the world's preeminent contemporary choreographer" according to their group's website, Gaga People. His active and adventruous artistic vision and captivating choreography had helped him in directing Batsheva Dance Company since 1990. His works as well as the process on how he do things is the main reason why Mr. Heymann decided to film his daily routine.

Tomer Heymann on the other side, is a master of directing documentary films. Most of it consist of biography and life documentations of someone. His films are so great that it won major awards at different prestigious films according to his website.
